Nope! To be fair, I'm still a neophyte. All my orchids are from a florist or via gift (i.e. florist). At this point, I'm simply content to keep them alive and blooming!

Ha--no worries. Glad you liked it!
Lol, The Boy--courtesy his habit of throwing food on the ground--is Lola's dream come to fruition. She's gained 10 lbs since he came around!
I'm perplexed? For what it's worth, I'm no Sith...although things could change once he's a teenager.
Someday in the not too distant future my son will realize I don't actually have Jedi powers; until then, I'm milking it for all it's worth!

Oof, I feel like I need to get a restraining order. Love for TN sports is the most abusive relationship I've had in my life.
I think it's time for Dallas to come out...
Thanks for the hot take, throwaway account guy.
He's referring to the Soviet pilot in Red Storm Rising that gets shot down near Iceland and ends up tying his life raft off to a shot down American pilot's raft (fear of sharks). When he's interrogated on the US ship, he reveals the reason why the Soviets started the war (fuel/oil shortages), which changes how the Allies target their airstrikes.
He's playing the long game--biding his time and eventually there will be delicious chicks to eat.
My friends are regular attendees. I just went one time with them last Bonnaroo, but their approach seemed to work well. Rather than a totem, they had coolies/rice hats with Christmas lights. Despite being a barely functioning shell of a man, I was able to find them consistently without too much difficulty.
God help us--she's just stupid, conservative, and crazy enough to win.
You got me! I appreciate you chiming in 25 days later--thanks indirectly to you I'm now a subscriber to r/orchids. My orchids thank you.

The way to watch the cat and baby at the same time...
Seriously...nerd? Given, I do a play a decent amount of video games, but I don't know that I fall into the "nerd" category. Nonetheless, it's not a safe road for high speed driving. I've lived in the area for a long time and have had the unpleasantness of being a first responder to many accidents there. The high friction pavement, reduced speeds, guardrails, and speed cameras in that area were paid for in blood. I get it; I have a sports car. If you want to go fast then go to Corridor J like normal people.
The "Hixson Pike one" as in the one(s) in the S-Curves?!? If so, I sincerely hope you are being facetious about driving through there at that speed. I'm not a big fan of automated traffic enforcement, but what you are describing is reprehensible. There have been too many lives lost there already. If you are so reckless and arrogant to drive in such a fashion on that road, the next one might be you. I just hope you don't take another 4 people with you like others before.

It's a guaranteed way to be removed from a death penalty jury. If you say you are unable to sentence someone to the death penalty in voir dire then it's an automatic strike.
Source: I was in the jury pool for a federal death penalty case and my wife is an assistant district attorney.
Unfortunately, from what I've seen from the criminal justice system, he won't get more than 2 years Federal time at best, and he most assuredly won't serve more than a year. Prison time in modern America is for murderers, drug dealers, and minorities.
Well fuck...although it does explain why my main drain line clogs on a regular basis. Per the many plumbers who have snaked it, it has a downward slope more appropriate for a Roman aqueduct covering 100s of miles than a poo laden PVC pipe that only travels 30 feet.
I asked a friend in the real estate business this very question recently, and he recommended either of these guys:
Mario Forte (Beginning Point Survey)
Mike North (Northpoint Survey)
